I’ll be the first to say that I don’t wear makeup every single day, and I never have, but I am still a sucker for makeup and buy way too much of it, some that I almost never get to use. Which is totally a waste, I know, but that is another story. The makeup I do use though, I am listing for you today. All of these items I use religiously whenever I’m “putting my face on” as my mother likes to call it.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit: Absolutely a favourite, though I definitely don’t use every shade in this kit. I’m hoping and wishing that Anastasia will come up with a mix-it-yourself kit. The bottom-middle is my go to, but the colors in the photo doesn’t to the real color justice. It’s much more of a cold color in real life, and so is my skin.
The Beauty Blender: Where to start? I have never EVER come across anything like this little thingy. Nine and a half thumbs up to the inventor. If you’re not familiar, it’s a sponge for putting on foundation, or really anything you’d like, and the best part about it is that you can moisten it, and it will turn in to a magic wand. For real. That was a lie, but I’m absolutely in love with how the finish of my makeup turns out after using it. I used to have a problem with my foundation cracking up in certain places, but with this it definitely doesn’t, and the foundation just melts into my skin.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish: To set my foundation I’m currently using this from Charlotte Tilbury. I haven’t used it for very long, but the first time I put it on I was amazed by it, and it’s now a regular.
Chanel Blush in the color Turbulent: Oh wow, this is my all time favorite blush, and I have been using this for as long as I can remember. The color gives my cheeks just a subtle hint of my natural blush, and I’m loving the tiny, tiny shimmer it’s got going on.
L’oréal Voluminous 4x: Right now I’m actually in between mascaras. My one true love, the Loreal Double Extension Waterproof mascara, has been discontinued in every store I’ve been to in town, and it makes me so sad. I’m about to order it online, but for now I’m using this and I’m quite happy with it.
L’oréal Brow Artist Plumper: Using this after the Brow Wiz makes my real brow hairs more defined and natural, which is what I’m going for when I do my brows.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz: True love, and I’m not sure I will ever turn my back on this one. Filling in my brows has become the thing I’d choose over anything.
Do you use any of these products, and what are your favorite ones?
